Narrative filmmaking is a visual experience exploring the conflict between living, breathing human beings.

n the crush of production, it’s easy to become inundated with myriad creative decisions—most having nothing to do with the words and actions that happen on screen. I work with directors to help them focus on the Theme, the Story, and Character Arcs driving their project and how these elements impact scene work between Actors. By honing these core elements, scenes become rooted in the larger-than-life stakes that make for compelling drama.

Once we’ve addressed Story and Script, we can turn our attention to Actor/Director communication and building a collaborative relationship with your cast. Learn to interact with your cast in a way that brings out dynamic character behavior, builds trust, and instills intimacy between cast members. I work with Directors to prepare for all areas of the production, from Casting to Rehearsals to Shooting.

We can work online via Zoom or at the studio in Midtown Manhattan. Sessions are tailored to the size of your project and production schedule. I’m also available to work as an On Set Acting Coach, speeding up rehearsal processes and ensuring smooth communication between the Director and Actors.
