Role Preparation & On Set Coaching
Unlock and infuse your distinctive voice in the role.
Tackling a challenging role doesn’t have to be a solitary pursuit. You have a team.
rincipal roles on Stage and Screen come with many challenges. In addition to the creative and artistic decisions you face, you also confront scheduling concerns, production issues, and the typical day-to-day concerns of regular life. Especially in fast-paced TV/Film production, actors often develop their characters and explore their roles independently from directors, producers, and writers—with little or no rehearsal.
Engaging an Acting Coach for Role Preparation and/or On Set Coaching frees you to explore the role fully, knowing you have a trusted hand guiding you toward your best work—and potentially avoiding the overwhelm and uncertainty of going it alone.
Trust Yourself And Your Path
I help actors to trust their instincts and unearth their potential at every step of their journey. From initial reads to callbacks, network tests, chemistry reads, table reads, pre-rehearsal preparation, ongoing script analysis for new episodes and rewrites, scene work, and on set, I’m here to help you stay authentic in your craft. We work in the way that best supports your needs, with as little or as much input as best serves you.
Sessions can take place at the Studio in Midtown Manhattan, via Zoom, or on location as appropriate.
Role Preparation and On Set Coaching are reserved for existing clients and referrals only—please contact me below to discuss how I can help.
